Warrensburg students joined Ticonderoga High School for their first “We Are Instrumental Music Summit”, aimed at connecting students interested in music with professional musicians. Students split off by the instrument they play to learn more about instrument-specific techniques and connect with the professional musicians in their field. Of course, there was a chance for these students from different school districts in the area to create music together!

Please be aware that both of our schools have planned lockdown drills scheduled for this Thursday. The drill for the Elementary School will occur at 10am and the drill for the Jr/Sr High School will occur at 1pm. The safety of our students, school staff, and support personnel is very important to us. In order to maintain a safe environment for our students to study and learn, it is necessary that we practice our emergency and crisis response plans by having drills designed to exercise our procedures.

If a student misses more than 18 or more days over the course of the entire school year, they are considered chronically absent. Being chronically absent is linked to falling behind in class, feeling discouraged, and risk for dropping out of school. We want to see our students as often as we can so we can set them up with the tools they will need after they leave our schools.
