Position Overview
The Supervising Groundskeeper leads and participates in the maintenance of facility grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and athletic fields. This is a working supervisor role responsible for directing staff while performing hands-on grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee all seasonal lawn care upkeep (Mowing, Trimming, Mulch, Snow Removal)
- Operate and perform minor maintenance on grounds equipment
- Inspect grounds and equipment; report and address maintenance needs
- Assist with scheduling work and coordinating materials and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of grounds, park, or athletic field maintenance experience and at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Valid New York State driver’s license
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000
- Health Insurance, Dental
- PTO, Retirement

Position Overview
Teaching Assistants and Teacher Aides play an essential role in supporting students and teachers while helping create positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments. These positions provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students while contributing to the daily success of our classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students academically, socially, behaviorally under the direction of teachers and administrators
- Assist with classroom instruction, learning activities, and teacher-directed small group or individual student support (Teaching Assistants)
- Reinforce classroom expectations and assist with classroom management and student supervision
- Suppor the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), accommodations, and behavioral supports
- Supervise students during transitions, arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other school activities
- Assist with classroom organization, instructional materials, attendance, clerical tasks, and daily classroom operations
- Provide assistance with student health, safety, mobility, feeding, and personal care needs, including toileting, when required, while maintaining student dignity and following district procedures
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- New York State Teaching Assistant Certification is required for Teaching Assistant positions
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Experience supporting students with disabilities or diverse learning needs is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
