Updates from the District
The U.S. Congress approved a series of temporary grant funding to assist school districts with costs associated with the impact of COVID-19. The District has received allocations of the temporary funding and has drafted a plan for the use of these funds to address learning loss, social and emotional impacts and the safe re-opening of our buildings. The Administration has met with key stakeholders including teacher leaders, counselors and the Board of Education to draft the plan which has been discussed in public Board meetings, can be reviewed here. Please note this is a draft plan that is subject to change as the District continues to gather data from staff, students and the community on the impacts of COVID-19, requiring re-allocation of resources.
