We are thrilled to announce that all three of our Winter Varsity athletic teams were recognized as NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete teams! Those teams are: Girls Varsity Basketball, Boys Varsity Basketball, and Warrensburg-Lake George Wrestling. To achieve this honor, the second marking period GPA of 75% of the team's total roster, when averaged together, must be a 90.00 or better. In addition, we had 20 Varsity athletes who had a 90.00 GPA or better in the second marking period. Congratulations to our student-athletes on a successful winter season in the classroom and on the courts/mats.!

Our Elementary School has been working on an exciting new project! Funded by a grant from the Glens Falls Hospital, the school received several tower garden growing systems to take care of. The tower gardens are soil-free and can grow food three times faster than regular plants. Since they are meant to be used indoors, they allow our students to see how food is grown and support local, healthy food choices throughout the year! The tower gardens are currently in the Cafeteria of the Elementary School. Students can check on their plants each day and see their progress!

Facts about the town: It is soil free. It saves space! It's an aeroponic garden system in which plants hang in air while water and nutrients drip on the roots. We also need to check the pH level, water level, and keep track of the plant's health. They will grow 3 times faster than regular plants

Warrensburg's students and staff participated in the third annual "PS I Love You Day" today. Created by the DiPalma family of West Islip, NY after losing a loved one to suicide, the family's mission is to bring awareness about the importance of mental health and to decrease bullying. This year's theme: Love is Meant to be Given. Warrensburg's SADD students, Students Against Destructive Decisions, encouraged their peers to spread love to the world, others, and most importantly, ourselves. Every morning this week, SADD students spoke to their peers about the importance of mental health.
