The Senior National Honor Society would like to recognize another top ten member of the Class of 2022 as Antoinette Fruda, daughter of Paige and Tony Fruda. Toni has been involved in a variety of activities during her time at Warrensburg including Cross Country, Basketball, Photography, Drama Club, and has been a Price Chopper Employee for several years. She has plans to become a preschool assistant after studying Early Childhood Education and also completing an internship at Warrensburg Elementary School and directing arts and crafts at the Warrensburg Rec Program this summer. She would also like to try something outside of her comfort zone in the future. Keep broadening your horizons, Toni, and congratulations on a wonderful high school career!

Malia Prevost is today’s featured senior for National Honor Society. The daughter of Alanna Crowley and James Prevost, Malia ranks 8th in her class and has been involved in Varsity Cross Country, Track, and Drama Club while in high school. She plans to attend SUNY Adirondack for one year to earn her Associates Degree and then transfer to Alfred State to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation. The elementary school was placed in a lockout today, June 1st, due to a suspicious individual seen biking around the campus. Law enforcement was notified and determined there was no risk to students or staff. We want to thank those that noticed something out of the ordinary and brought it to administration's attention. We also want to thank staff and students at the elementary school who conducted themselves in a professional manner during the lockout. Thanks to law enforcement's quick response, we were able to resume normal activities in a timely manner. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact a member of the administrative team. The Senior National Honor Society would like to recognize Patrick Hammond, the son of Bridget Clear and Ryan Hammond, as today’s featured senior. Patrick has been involved in a variety of activities during his time in high school including Varsity Soccer, Basketball, Holiday Band, Marching Band, and Memorial Day Taps. John is the son of Kathy and Tim Arnold and has been heavily involved in the Warrensburg EMS during the past few years as an EMT, transport coordinator, and secretary of the organization. He was also a Lifeguard at the Glens Falls YMCA. He plans to attend the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in the Paramedic Program and get a degree in Emergency Management with the goal of eventually running an EMS Agency.
