SARAYA FIORE, a junior at Warrensburg Jr/Sr High School, is the daughter of Junko and Glen Fiore of Warrensburg. Saraya was nominated by Mrs. VanDusen, English teacher, who stated, “Saraya is one of the hardest workers I have ever had in all my years of teaching. She comes to class prepared to work and eager to learn.  I will always remember Saraya leaving my classroom and saying every single day, ‘Have a nice day, Mrs. VanDusen.’  I truly can’t think of a student more deserving of recognition.”

ZACHARY SMITH, son of Jennifer Reed of Warrensburg and Thomas Smith of Chestertown, is a 4th grade student in Mrs. Glebus’s class at Warrensburg Elementary School. Zach was nominated by Mrs. Glebus and Ms. Mandolare, school nurse. Both commended Zach for his outstanding character, positive attitude, willingness to help others, and for making all our lives richer by showing true character and strength.
