Larger View Academic Quiz Bowl Team

Warrensburg's academic bowl 1st team has qualified for the playoffs in the Post Star Academic Quiz Bowl. The team of Anna Brand, Colin Campbell, Noah Davis, Chris Turner, and Dakota Fuller finished regular season play in 4th position out of 22 area schools. They will play in the finals at Queensbury High School on Wednesday, February 4th, beginning at 6:00. Also, our WCS 2 team, consisting of Dan Haller, Chris Carlson, Morgan Harris, and Alex Pope, finished in 10th place, just barely missing the playoffs . Both teams have practiced hard this season, meeting three times a week, and traveling to Queensbury High School on Wednesday evenings for their matches. The teams continue to practice as they gear up for the WCSD's opportunity to attend the National Academic Quiz Bowl Tournament, should they finish in 1st or 2nd place overall.
